There’s something you need to know about me

There’s something you need to know about me:

I am right handed but when scratch my head i do with the left.

You should also know that I’m not a raft but i keep floating miserably.

I keep the scars as if they were new but they’ve been here thirty plus years.

If you play them right and you will hear them beat.

There’s something you need to know about me:

Most times I search for what I lack in people who use and abuse me.

I’m always climbing up your trunk, but the only tree I can climb is in me.

I feel my bark rough and full of marks inside a heart that someone once carved.

I have so many names written inside I have forgotten the shape of all their bodies.

My branches want less every day that passes.

My thoughts are just leaves and not one of them is true.

There’s something you need to know about me:

I try to hide but what you have before you is me.

If you want to stay to sleep you will have to hug me whole with all the parts that I lost.
